Project Management

Consolidated have always recognised that the planning and management of any project is important to its success. We employ a team of Project Managers with over 20 years experience. Their role is to plan and manage projects so that we can ensure complete success and smooth running of any moves. All key activities need to be organised to obtain maximum efficiency and complete liaison with our Health and Safety advisor and with the client is always maintained. We value our relationships with our clients and work as a professional team to produce cost effective, smooth running projects.

We also employ a team of Project Managers who remain permanently on site at our major clients, maintaining the same standard of expertise managing day-to-day internal moves and installations.

Commercial Relocation

Consolidated regularly undertakes commercial moves for a wide variety of clients from the business sector. Moves have ranged in size up to 6,000 staff and have included global corporate companies, financial services, education and public sector.

All operatives are competent to carry out relocation and installation of IT equipment, office fixtures and all major ranges of furniture with cable management systems. Supervisors also oversee deployment of Consolidated resources to ensure relocation and installation works are completed within specified timescales.

In today’s economic climate many companies find themselves streamlining and restructuring which leads to internal changes and moves. Consolidated are able to deal with this 'churn' by offering the same level of service, often on a day-to-day basis. In some circumstances, we have a specialised team of operatives permanently on site.

International Move Management

The company has established itself as a reliable and competitive commercial relocation service company covering the UK, Europe and Asia. A diverse range of projects have been undertaken as far a field as Switzerland, Milan, Russia and Dubai. Consolidated have been in the favourable position of completing and securing ongoing contracts with international companies such as Morgan Stanley, NTL, Colt Telecom, Alfred Dunhill and BAE.

Skilled planners and experienced international project management provide the right team to do the job on time – every time. The majority of personnel have had many years of service within the office facilities sector internationally and all are fully qualified through our ongoing training and commitment to quality assurance.

Storage & Inventory Solutions

Consolidated have a purpose built 300,000 cubic foot warehouse offering clean, dry and secure storage with undercover loading bays, situated close to London and major road links and airports.

All products are stored in purpose built wooden containers that have a cubic capacity of 250 cubic ft. This has proved to be an extremely cost effective method of storage whilst offering a dust free environment with minimal risk of damage to product. However, we are able to tailor these facilities to a clients’ storage requirement. Our vast experience in sourcing, ordering and installing office furniture gives us the advantage of easily recognising many products and components and storing these with the correct product code and description. This enables the clients’ easy and efficient retrieval and re-ordering of products.

In addition, the company has invested in a tailor-made web based system that allows for password-controlled access to review the live information of stock held at our warehouse. The software enables the client to review online both the quantity and full description, together with digital photographic library, for each item.

Consolidated realises the importance of security and the most up-to-date alarm system has been installed with full Red Care protection, which has gained police Preferred Specification status. Digital CCTV cameras are in constant use with 24 hour round the clock recording.

Archiving Solutions

Consolidated provide leading archive storage, access and retrieval solutions for all your paper records, with a focus on security, efficiency and accuracy.

The document storage, retrieval and refilling processes are augmented with a comprehensive computerised inventory management system and barcode scanning. Enabling our clients to access their inventories via a secure web log-in for remote storage and retrieval requests.

Furniture & Interiors

Consolidated are specialists in systems furniture installation and reconfiguration. All staff are experienced in the installation of leading brands, ranges and product types, whether desk, beam or panel based. Certified electricians complete all furniture installations to include power and data cables.

Consolidated are able to supply and install all the leading furniture manufacturers including Haworth UK, who is the world’s largest independent office furniture manufacturer.

Any combination of the following furniture services may be supplied; project management, furniture selection, supply and installation, ongoing customer care and service.

We have been fortunate to be awarded the contracts to supply and install new furniture for many major projects, both in the UK and Europe. Over a period of 6 years Consolidated supplied Colt Telecom with over 3,000 workstations, seating and storage units in 12 UK sites. We have also successfully supplied and installed furniture for their sites in Frankfurt, Zurich, and Stockholm.

Voice & Data Services

Consolidated realise that the success of any move often relies on the technology support available for the relocation of information and communication technology. Our team of Data and IT technicians are competent to undertake both the design and installation of Hubs, Switches and Patching and full fault diagnostics on Data and Fibre Test Equipment. The installation of PC's, Laptops and General Tasks, Programmes and Applications is part of the service we offer.

Our team of Voice and Data technicians are trained to install CAT5E and CAT6 Structured Cabling Systems, Single Mode Fibre, Test Procedures and have knowledge of Telecoms Switches, Lans, Hubs and Switches, Patching, Moves, Swaps and Changes.

Electrical Services

Consolidated Electrical Engineers are fully qualified to the current edition of IEE Regulations and are experienced to install Industrial and Domestic Piro, Armoured Cable, Conduit, Trunking and Tray Works. We are also able to offer client’s design and installation of Electrak, UPS, and install and relocate Floor Boxes together with Test and Inspect Certification

Consolidated Office and Commercial refurbishment services include partitioning, new ceilings, electrical work, decoration, floor coverings, and much more. We have access to all the major suppliers offering our customers the best selection, catering for all aesthetic and cost requirements.
